I loved the Moon River pattern when it was released as a Christmas so along so when Kathy released the Full Moon River, I knew straight away that I would purchase the patten. I loved how my bag turned out. Its such a cute pattern that does not require much materials. I can't help how easy it was to get such a sophisticated look and now I want to make more of them. I do not think I want to change anything about the pattern. Its absolutely perfect. Also, the video tutorial helped a lot. I love the happy go lucky attitude of Kathy. I’ve made 2 and absolutely love the design.

So I chose canvas and cork for the exterior, and cotton fabric for the interior. I also used canvas for the interior divider pocket.
I didn’t do the snap cover or the grommets. Instead I made d-ring holders out of the cork fabric and attached them at the side seams.
I love the way it turned out, was having some doubts how it was all going to turn out the right way at the end.
Will definitely make it again.

Watching the video before starting the process was very helpful. Loved all the pockets and features included. Good job with instructions, including the pictures of all the cutout pieces and where they went in the finished bag.

There are allot of pieces to this but it gives it is flare! Love all the pockets, love the key chain and water bottle holder!!!!

I’ve made the tripster and the roadie and love them both. It’s slow going at first for me - so many pieces to cut and keep track of-but the sewing directions are terrific and it comes out beautifully!!

The Moon River is such a great sew! The functionality of the little purse is top notch! It’s easy to use whatever fabrics your machine can handle and the pattern lends itself easily to fit your needs for additional details not included but cheered for when you can make it happen for yourself. It’s a great sew for up-cycling fabrics too.
