The Cascadia features a center divider zip pocket and fun hidden slip pocket on the exterior. The flap and hidden slip pocket are optional and there are multiple strap connections to choose from so there are lots of options to choose from so you can really make this bag your own. Pattern also includes instruction on how to make a "flat" (non-darted) version with measurement adjustments.
This pattern is easy to follow and features full-color photos to coordinate with the step-by-step instructions. Printable pattern pieces are included.
Decovil Light (or equivalent) for flap (N/A if not making the flap)
Woven (SF101 or equivalent) for lining (cotton woven)
Fleece or foam for exterior, if using canvas or cotton woven
HARDWARE (depending on configuration option chosen)
Zipper, #5 size: 9” length (divider pocket) and 11” (Main) , each with one zipper pull
1” strap webbing (2 yards) OR chain strap (length to preference)
For an adjustable strap: (2) 1” lobster clasps, (1) 1” strap adjustable slider rectangle
(2) 1” D-rings OR (2) 1” 'arch bridge’ connectors or similar side connector hardware
(1) Magnetic snap OR twist lock (optional - only needed if adding the flap.
Optional Sewing Tools
1/8” Double Sided Tape OR Fabri-Tac fabric glue
